Animal Assisted Therapy Ranch
Hialeah was Finding Hiawatha’s first equine co-therapist. She was also Jacque’s first horse partner after Hiawatha. Hialeah was with us starting in January of 2017 and remained with us until January 2020 when she was ready to go over the rainbow bridge to be with Hiawatha. She was unfailingly patient and kind despite the pain she was in due to severe arthritis in her front right knee. Hialeah will remain in our hearts forever as an unwavering sweet and loving girl who lived her last and best three years serving people with purpose and love.
Crumbs was with us at the ranch from the end of May 2021 through October 2023. Crumbs loved cuddling with her human friends, and often licked them to show her happiness. Crumbs often let Cookie take the lead on adventures as she was more relaxed exploring the space during sessions. Crumbs will live on in our hearts as such a cuddlebug who loved getting to play and work every day.
Cookie was born at the end of May 2021 and was with us at the ranch through May 2023. Both Cookie and Crumbs were birthday gifts to Jacque from her son. Cookie enjoyed her time getting to work with clients at the ranch and was extremely curious and adventurous when interacting with people. Cookie will be celebrated daily as we remember her love for adventure and playful spirit.
Our precious Bean was with us here at the ranch from Nov. 2022 through Dec. 2024. Bean was the companion to her sister Jelly. She was known for her mischievous antics and playful and social personality. Bean loved stashing away treats and trinkets around the room for us to find later. Bean touched so many lives, and taught us that all animals have gifts, no matter the size or species. Bean is so missed, and will live on in our hearts forever!
