La Luna is a cross between a Welsh Cobb and a Missouri Fox Trotter. She was born in 2005 and brought to Finding Hiawatha, with Lupa, in September 2017 to work as a co-therapist. La Luna’s previous owner no longer wanted her, as she was “too small” to be a barrel racing horse – she was no longer considered to be useful. La Luna has become the herd leader despite being the smallest horse in the herd. La Luna can take some time to warm up to new people but once she does, she is as loyal as they come.
